Rea Palus Race Obstacles Regulation - 7 April 2019

General rules:

Where present, it is necessary to use the dedicated lane for the first attempt and leave it free for other attempts.
It is not allowed to touch the tubes and supports marked with a red stripe.

Individual obstacle rules:

O CAMALLO
Before departure, a bag of 35 kg sand for men and 20 kg for women is collected from the box and picked up. The start is with the bag already on its shoulders and goes along the 300-meter path delimited by strips until the athlete meets the same box where the bag must be stored for others competitors.
The obstacle is considered as not passed when:
the competitor throws the bag instead of leaving slowly in the box (the obstacle must be redone)

LA PIRAMIDE
The athlete must pass a pyramid 4 meters wide and 4 meters high with cargo net walls. It is not allowed to descend by jumping from the top of the pyramid.

SAND CRAWL
The athlete must pass under the barbed wire 10 meters long and 50 cm high from the ground.

LA GRIGLIATA
Follow a pipe for 5 meters with your hands. The tube is placed at 120 cm from the ground. The tube cannot be touched with the legs under the knee. The obstacle must be overcome with both legs on the same side of the tube. You can stop and lean on the tube with your pelvis to take rest. Sitting on the pipe is not permitted.
You can proceed either by walking only on the hands or by dragging yourself on the pipe.
The obstacle is not passed when:
the competitor touches the ground in the space between the tubes near the ground at the beginning and end of the obstacle (you cannot touch the ground in the space occupied by the obstacle, while you can touch all the support tubes)

2 WALLS (WOOD)
The athlete must pass 2 walls, the first 160 cm high, the second 200.
The obstacle is not passed when:
the competitor helps himself with the lateral supports




MAD SCALE
The athlete must go along a kind of staircase 12 meters long and 1 wide, positioned on the ground, touching only the pegs and only with the feet. The pegs are wooden planks supported "by the coast" placed at a variable distance from one another from 50 cm to 100 cm.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
helps with side supports
touches the ground
uses other parts of the body beyond the feet.

SUPERMAN
The athlete must  go along a low structure laterally formed by planks resting on the ground. The boards are 1.80 meters apart and the feet are used on one board and the hands on the other.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
Uses the supports between the boards
touches the ground
Il GOMMONE
The athlete must drag a truck tire for 5 meters and then dragged back to the starting point. it is not permitted to raise the tire from the ground.

LA CAMPANA DEL PIRATA
The athlete must climb up a rope and reach 5 meters where there is a bell to play with your hand.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
Uses side supports
The athlete rings the bell with a part of the body that is not the hand.

WOOD SEQUENCE
The athlete must pass a series of 3 trunks at a height of 100 cm, 120 cm and150cm.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
uses side supports

IL CANGURO
The athlete must go along the last stretch of the climb to the sanctuary (160 meters) with the feet joined by an elastic band.
You can only hop around, you can't make small steps, you can use your hands on the floor and on the final steps.
On the churchyard, the competitor removes the elastic band and brings it back where it was taken.

CLIMB WALL
The athlete must pass a very inclined wall with using a rope. The wall is 4 meters wide and 3.6 meters high, the descent is of boards 50 cm apart


FRISBEE
The athlete must lunch a car tire and to put it on a 60 cm high vertical pipe placed at 4 meters

IN BILICO
The athlete must climb up a truck body and descend from the opposite side jumping to the ground.

MBBSS - MONKEY BAR LOW ABOVE AND BELOW
Is a structure in tubes and joints with 10 pipes placed perpendicularly to the direction of travel all 120 cm high from the ground.
The athlete must go through the obstacle hanging from the structure without touching the ground, alternately passing one tube above and one below. You can touch the pipe on the ground at the first and last pipe above.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
uses side supports
touches the ground in the space below the structure, between the first and last pipe

SLACKLINE
The athlete must walk a stretched tape 5 cm wide 4 meters long located at 50 cm from the ground

PARKOUR
The athlete must pass a 180 cm high wall: once you pass, without touching the ground, you must jump on a vertical net 200 cm high set at 180 cm from the wall. Then you have to climb on the net, climb the horizontal plane above the net and then go down to the ground.

EQUILIBRIUM
The athlete has to walk along an axis of balance 10 cm wide and 12 meters long arranged in a zig zag pattern, only with the feet.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
descends laterally from the obstacle before having covered it all

MULTIRIG
The athlete has to pass the obstacle in suspension using any part of the body. The obstacle consists of tubes, tires, ropes and sockets like rings or similar. The obstacle is overcome when the competitor rings the bell placed at the end of the structure.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
uses side supports
touches the tubes where tools or ropes are attached
touches the strings that support the tools (eg if there is a ring attached with a rope, you cannot touch the rope but only the ring)
rings the bell with a part of the body that is not the hand.


ARREMBAGGIO
The athlete has to cross the space between the Multirig and the Flying Monkey with the use of a rope: the competitor must play the bell placed at the bottom of the rope with the hand  
The obstacle is considered not passed when the competitor:
Taps on the ground before ringing the bell.

FLYING MONKEY
The athlete has to pass an obstacle 5.40 meters in suspension, using only the hands. The obstacle is made up of 5 tubes at the distance of 100 cm from each other. The athlete has to take the hands off a pipe at the same time and then stick with both hands simultaneously to the next.
It is necessary to start from the first tube.
The obstacle is not passed when the competitor:
falls to the ground before having touched with at least one hand, the bell placed 30 cm after the last tube.
uses side supports
the bell rings with a part of the body that is not the hand.

Women start from the third before last tube (so they must do only 3)
